The BHS Activities Handbook: Extracurricular Activities At Brunswick High School Published by Rising Surf
Freshman Class: To work with the elected freshman class officers, students must have a 2.0 (C) average or better and a clear discipline record. Meeting times will be announced. Advisor: Mrs. McKenzie-Lewis
Sophomore Class: To work with the elected sophomore class officers, one must have six teacher recommendations, a grade point average certified by guidance, and the number of class hours verified by each student's advisor. Representatives are elected from each homeroom in the fall. The meetings are determined by the officers and the advisor. Advisor: Mrs. C. Pittman
Junior Class: To work with elected junior officers and representatives, one must meet eligibility requirements for extracurricular activities and must be a junior. The class sponsors the Junior/Senior Prom, various fundraising activities and the homecoming float. The meetings are held monthly. Advisors: Mrs. Williams, Ms. Tharin, Mrs. Rice and Mrs. Galland

Senior Class: To work with the elected senior class officers, one must have a C average and show a willingness to work. A teacher recommendation is also required. Meetings are usually held weekly unless otherwise determined by the advisor. The senior class organizes and plans for the annual senior party, participates in homecoming, helps plan the junior/senior assembly and graduation.
